Changing materials

Every family ships with a documented list of editable material slots — here's how to restyle them.

1. 1Select the family instance in your Revit view.
2. 2Open the Properties panel and click Edit Type.
3. 3Find the material parameters listed on the product's specification table.
4. 4Click each material swatch and pick a new material from your project or library.
5. 5Apply the change — the geometry stays the same, only the finish updates.
